About the 2010 Litter

Congratulations puppy owners on your NAVHDA Natural Ability testing performance!  All five puppies prized, with four receiving maximum 112-point scores.  The litter will receive a NAVHDA Breeder's Award in recognition of its Natural Ability performance.  This type of field test underscores the strength of our breeding program and the dedication of the puppy owners to provide their versatile dogs with a quality home and field environment.

This litter was whelped on April 23, 2010.

All five pups are females, with three black and two liver -- descriptions below.

The pups were extensively socialized from birth (our grade-school kids helped from Day 1, including whelping) and grew up in our home and yard.  Beginning at five weeks of age, the pups were regularly exposed to cross-town trips in the crate and visits into the field with field that included working through various types of cover, pigeons, and swimming.
