We kept Bruce from our fall 2024 litter. He is a beast in the field and we look forward to seeing how he does in his first hunting season. Bruce is also one of the sweetest house dogs we've had, even earning the nickname "Lappy" for his unyielding desire to curl up on a lap.

Chewer of bumpers,
Counter surfing prodigy
Gets away with it
‘cause he’s a charmer.
Bird crazy, stylin’ on point,
But lazy retrieve.
We overlook faults
Since he swims and searches like
There’s no tomorrow.
But there will be lots
Of tomorrows and then some,
This little rascal.
Back home he’s rooting
Around in the dishwasher,
Into everything,
Such a busy dude.
But sweet, snuggly, and friends with
Everyone he meets.
Wagging and happy.
Gotta love this busy guy.
We call him Lappy.
Everywhere at once.
Digging into our grateful,
Warm and smiling hearts.
