Latch was the son of Mandy, born out of the 2013 litter. He was also the sire of our 2020 litter.

Latch's owner, Steve Swift (Yacolt, Washington), described him this way:

Latch was easily my wife Crissie's favorite of our 10 pup litter in 2013. He is affectionate like his mother, Mandy, and wants to do whatever asked, which is why I "borrow" him often. In the field he is a powerhouse in cattails, patient in CRP, and beautiful to watch in open sharp-tail country. He will often track and point a moving rooster several times before pinning it down. Latch really took to the NAVHDA water training and now does duck searches on his own whenever he gets a chance. He surprised me once delivering two quail to hand on one retrieve and has no problem with geese. Crissie still feeds him, but he makes sure he is ready whenever I go out.
